World Junior Girls Golf Championship, presented by Sargent Farms Launches New Brand Identity

The Organizing Committee of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship is proud to reveal a revitalized logo that will be used in all aspects of the championship moving forward.  Typically conducted in late September, the World Junior Girls Golf Championship, presented by Sargent Farms features some of the most promising 18-and-under female junior golfers from across the world.

In addition to providing these talented junior athletes the opportunity to compete on a world stage, the championship plays an important role in developing a more inclusive culture within golf, and growing participation among women and girls.  This is a mission that is shared by newly announced presenting sponsor, Sargent Farms.

“Sargent Farms is immensely proud to be the presenting sponsor of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship and to be officially integrated into this this new and inclusive logo that speaks to the global audience on many levels” said Justin Robinson, Chief Marketing Officer with Sargent Farms.  “One of our guiding principles as an organization is total inclusivity and leadership in the communities we serve.  The World Junior Girls Golf Championship gives us a platform to not only talk about diversity and inclusion, but to put action behind our principles and support a great avenue for young people to excel and become future leaders.”

The World Junior Girls Golf Championship, presented by Sargent Farms is conducted by Golf Canada in partnership with Golf Ontario and supported by the R&A and the International Golf Federation. It is recognized as one of the top-ranked events by the Women’s World Amateur Golf Rankings (WWAGR).

“It has been so inspiring to see the growth of the World Junior Girls Golf Championship, since it was first conducted in 2014, and the new brand identity will play an important role for the event moving forward,” said Mallory Dayman, Special Events Director for the World Junior Girls Golf Championship.  “We are excited to work with our new partners at Sargent Farms to ensure we continue to positively impact the community in which the championship is held.”

“Many of our past participants have gone on to have successful professional careers on the LPGA Tour and continue to inspire the next generation of female golfers,” said Akash Patel, Tournament Director for the World Junior Girls Golf Championship.  “We believe our partnership with Sargent Farms will assist us in our mission to drive participation in girls’ and women’s golf by continuing to provide access to the game of golf to these underrepresented groups through the championship.”

The 2021 World Junior Girls Golf Championship, presented by Sargent Farms, is tentatively scheduled for September 27 – October 2 at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ont.

The safety and well-being of all athletes, international delegates, host club staff and volunteers and the host community at large remains paramount in safely conducting the event.  The World Junior Girls Organizing Committee will continue to work with all levels of government towards the required approvals to conduct the 2021 World Junior Girls Golf Championship, presented by Sargent Farms.
